About these terms

In these terms, “we” and “us” means AutomateiQ, based in Centurion, Gauteng, and “you” means the business or person who orders from us. They apply to everything we sell. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected] or WhatsApp 068 909 1282 and we will explain.

We answer messages at any hour. Working days are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, and every turnaround time below is in working days.

Website as a service

We design your website, host it on your domain and make your changes for as long as you subscribe, for one monthly fee.

What is included

• As many pages as your business needs, the design, and every change to your text, photos, prices, services and hours.
• One request at a time: a change within 2 working days, a new page within 5. Small requests sent together count as one, and the next request starts when the last one is live.
• Hosting and SSL on your domain, with unlimited storage and email accounts under fair use.
• We write the words from what you tell us and send us.
• If you have no logo yet, a free basic logo: one design (a clean wordmark or lettermark in your colours), one round of changes, the logo in colour and in white as SVG and PNG, and a one-page brand sheet.

What is quoted separately

Anything that turns the site into software (bookings, client logins, links to other systems), logo work beyond the free basic logo, photography, social media and advertising. We quote these at an hourly rate or a fixed price, and agree it with you before any work starts. Domains, paid photos and paid plugins are charged at cost.

Your information on the site

You give us the facts about your business, and we do not invent claims for you. Where we do not know a detail, we fill it in sensibly and you correct it when you see the site.

Payment and contract

• Month to month, with no contract and no minimum period.
• No setup fee.
• The service is billed monthly in advance, and the first month is paid before we start building.

How long a new website takes

After you pay, you have 2 working days to send us anything you want on the site. We send you a first version on a preview link 3 working days after that. You then have 5 working days to ask for changes, and the site goes live the next working day, on a date we give you, unless your changes need more time. Changes after that are part of the service.

What stays yours

Your domain, and the words and photos you send us, are yours. The website’s design and code stay ours: we license them to you while you subscribe, and they are not handed over when the subscription ends.

Email

Email you delete permanently cannot be recovered.

Cancelling

Tell us in writing, by email or on WhatsApp. Invoices run until we have processed your cancellation. Your website comes down at the end of the last paid month, and your domain, words and photos stay yours.

Logo and corporate identity design

• Each item or set has a once-off price, paid before work starts.
• You own the finished logo outright.
• Timing: logo concepts within 3 working days, and the final files 2 working days after you choose one. A logo redraw, or any other single item, within 3 working days, and a CI manual within 5. The document pack is ready within 5 working days, and the Corporate Identity set 7 working days after the logo.
• Revisions are unlimited inside a set window, one request at a time: 14 days for a logo design, counted from the day you get the concepts, and 7 days from delivery for every other item, a logo redraw included. In a set, the logo has 14 days and the rest 7 days from its delivery.
• A revision is a change to the concept you chose. Starting again from nothing is a new logo design. When the window closes, the latest version is final, and later changes can be ordered as a revision extension of 7 more days.
• We make clean wordmarks, lettermarks and simple geometric marks. Trademark searches or registration, printing, hand-drawn illustration, mascots and photography are not included.
